Head of Religious Studies – Full time Maternity Cover

September 2017

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and qualified teacher who has proven track record of accelerating progress and attainment in Religious Studies and is able to secure high level achievement.

This role is a one year maternity cover post to begin in September 2017 until July 2018.  You will be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning and be an outstanding classroom practitioner; you will also take on various Head of Department duties.

You must be able to teach Religious Studies up to and including A Level. The teaching of Philosophy and Ethics at A Level would also be highly desirable.

As a teacher you will join a thriving team who teach across the age and ability range throughout the school. You will have an ability to build, develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all students, parents and colleagues alike. All staff are expected to contribute to the wider aspects of school life.

Following the recent excellent ISI Inspection received by the School, we are looking for the right candidate to fill this role to continue to deliver the outstanding education reflected in the report.

Temporary Music Teacher 

Michaelmas term 2017  (September to December)
Approximately 0.7 FTE across 4 days

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Music Teacher who can teach up to and including A Level on a fixed term contract to ensure the highest quality of teaching.

You will be well qualified, with ambition and clear vision and energy, and have a passion for teaching first class lessons and helping the pupils attain the best possible results, whilst encouraging music through the school.

You will be involved with various ensembles, productions and the wider musical life of the school.

As a teacher you will join a thriving team who teach across the age and ability range throughout the school. You will have an ability to build, develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all students, parents and colleagues alike. All staff are expected to contribute to the wider aspects of school life
