Sixth Form Centre

The Sixth Form Centre is located at No.13 The Close in a beautiful Grade II Listed mansion house. There are teaching rooms, a private study room complete with computers, a well-equipped kitchen, a relaxing Common Room and a delightful walled garden.

Students can learn about post-18 courses, apprenticeships and employment opportunities in the Careers Library.

Pastoral support

Sixth Form life is exhilarating, yet the pressures of examinations plus university applications and the challenge of working to a high standard can be considerable. We aim to provide the fullest support to each student to enable them to reach their maximum potential. Each form contains students from both Upper and Lower Sixth, giving those new to the Sixth Form the chance to learn from the experiences of those ahead of them.

The Head of Sixth Form, the Form Tutors, the Assistant Head (Pupil Support & Guidance), the Chaplain and the School Nurse are all on hand to provide a caring framework of support and guidance.
