Pat was installed as Canon for Pastoral development and Mission in October 2014, having spent the previous ten years as a parish priest in Wolverhampton.  During that time she served as Chair of Governors of a local community primary school.  She was ordained in Lichfield in 2001, with a variety of previous experience including social work, predominantly with teenagers, and a period as lay Anglican Chaplain at Birmingham University.

She has particular interest in and experience of spirituality, and the variety of different ways that people engage with faith.  She has been a member of the General Synod of the Church of England since 2010, and has recently been re-elected for a second term.

Interests include walking, history (her first degree), and languages. She is also passionate about issues of sustainability, climate justice and climate change.
