Arts competition for 4-18 year olds

The National Association of Teachers of Religious Education have launched the 2024 Spirited Arts Competition. Pupils are invited to submit an entry in (almost) any art form - art, poetry, photography, dance, music, drama, sculpture, etc.  As a school, we can submit a maximum of 10 entries, so there will be internal judging of LCS entries.

The themes for 2024 are:

  • Faith in humanity: 'no to racism, yes to respect'
  • Looking beyond
  • How do we envisage God?
  • Wise words? Holy words?
  • Green faith, green future? 'God's good earth'
  • Why do animals matter?

Alongside your piece of art, pupils should include a write-up, limited to 400 words, to connect to the theme, highlight your work and provide meaningful commentary.

The deadline for school entries is Friday 28th June - send your submissions to Mrs Johnson via i.johnson@lichfieldcathedralschool.com
