Cambridge Organ Experience

On Saturday 24 May we left Lichfield before 7am to attend the Cambridge Organ Experience, organised by the Cambridge University Centre for Music Performance. 

After a quick photo opportunity on arrival with Anna Lapwood, Official Organist of the Royal Albert Hall and Director of Music at Pembroke College, we spent the day visiting different colleges where we had the opportunity to play the organs and chat to current organ scholars at the university. 

Later we enjoyed a private visit to King’s College Chapel to see and hear the organ and the event culminated in an organ recital by Anna Lapwood in Selwyn College Chapel.   We had a fantastic day!
