Christmas Dinner Day

This end of the Michaelmas Term is always characterised by the excitement of the children in the run up to the holiday, the flurry of festive events that punctuate this point in the year and a general sense of good-natured business.

Today was Christmas dinner day at Longdon and Lichfield and it was hugely enjoyed by pupils and staff alike – our thanks to the dedicated Catering Teams for creating such delicious festive treats.

As we look forward to the holiday break, I hope to see you at one of the Cathedral services, especially those involving our hard-working Choristers and Choral Scholars.  We have so much to be thankful for here at LCS and the waiting afforded by Advent gives us chance to pause and reflect on our blessings.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support of the School, for putting your faith in us and allowing us to educate your truly lovely children.  It is a real blessing to be part of such a community as this.

Holy Jesus,
by being born one of us,
and lying humbly in a manger,
you show how much God loves the world.
Let the light of your love always shine in our hearts,
until we reach our home in heaven,
and see you on your throne of glory.
Amen.
