Exploring ancient Egypt

Year 4 recently had a fantastic day celebrating Ancient Egypt!  The children arrived at school wearing amazing costumes, ranging from pharaohs to mummies, and they took part in a fun-filled workshop learning about Ancient Egyptian life and culture.

In the afternoon, they worked together to build pyramids using spaghetti and marshmallows and also tried their hand at creating a working shaduf (a hand-operated device for lifting water).

It was an exciting and educational day full of hands-on activities, and everyone had a great time exploring the wonders of Ancient Egypt!
