Gymnastics & Athletics achievements

On Sat 8 March, Mia (Year 9) competed in a West Midlands County Qualifier Gymnastics Competition at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, finishing in a fantastic 1st place in her category. 

Mia competed against other gymnasts from across the region and completed three tumbling passes with multiple flicks, pikes and tuck backs. Following this achievement, Mia has now qualified for the National Gymnastics Championships taking place in late May.

On the same day, Charlie (Year 8) who competes for the Royal Sutton Coldfield Athletics Club, took part in the indoor 'Sports-Hall Event' in Solihull, competing against athletes from 3 other Midland clubs as well as his own club.

Charlie achieved an impressive first place in the triple jump overall and second place in two other events.
