Inspired by David Attenborough

Year 2 have started to look at the Access Art curriculum and we have watching some of the documentaries presented by Sir David Attenborough, featuring incredible video footage of the natural world.

The children have been massively inspired by everything and we captured some of the images and transferred them into PowerPoint so that the children could sketch the outline and then add water colours. We had some fabulous polar bear and dolphin images to observe and we honed in on these. 

As you can see the results speak for themselves.  The Year 2 children have done a marvellous job, and we clearly have some budding artists of the future.  Well done Year 2!
