Inspired by Kandinsky

Year 2 recently looked at the art and methodology of Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky. 

The children learned about abstract art and how Kandinsky painted to music. We also discussed some of his work and the children tried to replicate his Concentric Circles piece, using their own colours.

The children found it quite calming listening to music whilst they painted and I was so impressed with their art work.  We hope you enjoy their paintings.
