Inspiring Female Lead career event

A fantastic group of Year 8-12 girls took part in an inspiring Female Lead event called Inspiring Careers of the Future at Amazon HQ in London recently. 

The event was dedicated to showcasing diverse career paths and empowering young women and featured an incredible line-up of speakers, including award-winning sports presenters, photographers, doctors and tech leaders, who shared their journeys and advice.

From the moment we arrived, the girls were enthusiastic and eager to learn, asking insightful questions and taking the initiative to talk to the speakers during breaks. They showed great curiosity listening to the inspiring journeys and participating in the interactive workshops about photography, apprenticeships at Amazon, and even pathways to becoming a female pilot. It was wonderful to see them so keen to explore different career paths. A huge thank you to The Female Lead team for hosting such an empowering event - it was an invaluable experience for our students.
