Lichfield Cathedral Choir news

Senior Choristers and Choral Scholars performed at Victoria Hall in March for the Organ Proms.

The choir sang pieces which included The Spirit of the Lord & Give unto the Lord by Elgar, Dyson's Magnificat in F and Mozart's Laudate Dominum.  The concert concluded with a magnificent presentation of Parry's I was glad.

The whole performance was extremely well received by all who attended. The choir was directed by Mr Lamb and accompanied by Mr Rawles on the organ.  In addition to accompanying the singing, Mr Rawles performed two solo pieces; Impromptu No. 3 by C Taylor and Frolic (an English Suite) by CHH Parry arr. Stockmeier.
