Music exam successes!

We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our pupils who recently took music exams with ABRSM and Trinity examination boards. Across a wide range of instruments and singing, our young musicians impressed examiners with their musicality, preparation, and poise under pressure.

From initial grades through to the most advanced levels, the results were a testament to the hard work of our pupils and the support of our Visiting Music Teachers. Examiners consistently praised the confidence, expression, and care with which performances were delivered – with many pupils scoring well above national averages. A special mention goes to three glorious individuals whose performances were particularly distinguished in this exam session:

Leo (ABRSM) achieved the highest mark of all candidates with an outstanding 135/150. Hot on his heels were Elijah (ABRSM) with 134/150 and Tiyaa (Trinity), who earned a superb 89/100. Each displayed exceptional musicality, technical control, and expressive maturity beyond their years.

These remarkable results across the cohort reflect not only technical skill but also confident, expressive performances and a strong commitment to musical development.  Music exams offer so much more than a certificate. They build discipline, performance confidence, and musicianship skills that last a lifetime. Whether it was a first exam or a final grade, we are proud of every pupil who embraced the challenge this spring.

We wish the very best of luck to all those taking exams later this term – we can’t wait to celebrate your results too!  Bravo to all – your hard work and passion for music continue to inspire the School community.
