RS students visit Lichfield Mosque

Year 10 & 11 GCSE Religious Studies students visited the Lichfield mosque and Islamic Centre on Monday, which is only a ten minute walk from School, around the other side of Stowe Pool. We received such a warm welcome from the Imam and his wife.

Students were given a very informative tour of the mosque, were taught more about Muslim beliefs and practices and learnt about the history of the mosque itself. The students even had the opportunity to have their names written in Arabic. A fascinating morning!
