Supporting Retired Greyhound Trust

Jess (Year 11) attended Crufts with her dog, Indie, to represent the Wolverhampton branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust.

Jess spent the day on the Greyhound Discover Dog stand speaking to members of the public about what amazing family pets greyhounds make after their racing career has finished, and generally talking about the characteristics of the breed. It was an extremely busy day with hundreds of people stopping by to chat and stroke the hounds.  

Jess will continue to volunteer with Indie at other awareness events in the West Midlands to help the rehoming of retired greyhounds throughout the year.
