TT Rockstars - excellent results again!

TT Rock Stars is a national times table competition in which schools and individual pupils compete to answer correctly as many times tables questions as they can within a given time limit.  LCS has an excellent track record, so the pressure was on in the latest competition - England Rocks!

Pupils in Years 3 to 6 took part from 12th to 14th November, answering as many questions as they could in a one hour session anytime from 7.30am to 7.30pm daily and the results were FANTASTIC:

• In the All-Through Schools category (Nur-Year13), LCS placed 2nd in England.
• Jacob M (Year 5) achieved 1st place out of 7,172 pupils.
• Class 5C achieved 1st place out of 735 classes.
• 4B, 4K, 5C and 5L were all placed in the top 25 classes in England.
• 7 pupils were placed in the top 50 pupils in England: Jacob, Theo, Romeo, Daniel, Jared, Taren & Tamara.
• Pupils in Years 3-6 got 241,947 correct answers in total for the competition.

A huge WELL DONE to everyone who took part and a special well done to Jacob!
