U12 Girls' Hockey

On Monday the 11th November, the U12 Hockey team played against Stafford Grammar.

The U12 girls started off well and there was some great work in midfield from Isla.  LCS applied a lot of pressure on the Stafford Grammar defence, but unfortunately the opponents caught a break and scored first. 

After half time, the girls came out with a great attitude and their passing and positional play improved.  LCS started to take more opportunities on goal forcing the Stafford Grammar goal-keeper to make some great saves, however Mia managed to equalise.  LCS continued to apply pressure and there were some good saves by Lyla in goal for LCS, and with perseverance the girls were able to convert the opportunities to take the lead.

Final score 2-1 to LCS.  Player of the match – Isla.
