U13 Rugby v Bishop Walsh

On Monday 4 November, the U13 Rugby team travelled to Bishop Walsh School. On a misty afternoon in Sutton, the team were excited to play a strong opponent.

The boys started well, with some great ball handling through the attacking line. Oliver and Charles ensured the team were strong in defence, especially at the break-down. Bishop Walsh scored midway through the first third to make the score 5-0. LCS once again started to dominate possession, with Emil and Thomas breaking through Walsh’s defensive line. LCS tied the game at 5-5 with a brilliant Tate try.

Bishop Walsh re-established their lead midway through the second third to make the score 10-5. LCS were able to tie things up with another well worked try from Tate in the corner of the try zone. Unfortunately, Bishop Walsh were able to score the go ahead try with minutes left in the final third, finishing with a score of 20-10.

A great performance from all the boys, especially Tate, Charles and Thomas.
