Using masks to explore perception

Year 9 are currently studying 'Face - The Play' in Drama lessons, a brilliant story adapted by Benjamin Zephaniah and Richard Conlon, from the original best-selling novel by Benjamin Zephaniah. 

The play tackles the moving and compelling story of a young man, Martin, whose life is completely changed when his face is badly scarred in a joyriding accident.

Amelie has gone above and beyond in her design role by creating a wonderful mask to show the facial disfigurement that Martin suffers from after the car crash. Her group are very pleased to be able to use her creation. Thank you, Amelie!
