Maisie

Maisie (Year 7) trains and competes for Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club in the pole vault. Recently, Maisie achieved Silver at the Midland Counties Indoor Athletics Championships hosted by Loughborough University with a height of 2.32m. At the England Athletics National Indoor Championships in Sheffield, Maisie competed in the U15 category and finished with the 4th highest vault and in 6th position after countback, an outstanding performance, and set a new personal best, vaulting a height of 2.48m. At the English Schools Track & Field Cup (Staffordshire round), Maisie set a new personal best of 2.60m, and gained the most points of any single athlete in the competition.
